In 2019 I trained as a certified transformational coach, and it changed the course of my life.What changed me wasn't a technique. It was learning about the essence of why coaching is so powerful: listening at a deeper level, and experiencing what it felt like to be truly listened to by someone else.That set me on what's become a lifelong journey: becoming a better listener, and a better conversationalist.It also made me strangely sensitive to how rarely it happens. Once you've felt real listening, you start to notice its absence everywhere...how many people, in how many rooms, simply aren't doing it.And that's a strange thing, when you think about it. We spend our whole lives in conversation. In business, you need conversations to move things forward. We need good conversations to get things done, to connect, to build anything with anyone. Yet almost all the focus goes on how to speak and get our point across. And almost none on the other half of every conversation: listening and being present to what is actually happening.This matters for everyone, in every part of life. But I felt called to bring it to leaders and founders - because they are playing a key role in shaping workplace and the world at large. Most leaders haven't realised that what is upstream of everything else they need to lead in a human-centric way might be something already within them: the ability to understand other people, to address what is actually going on and to inspire trust. All of it rooted in deeper listening.Since then, I've facilitated deep thinking sessions 1-1 and deep listening workshops for executives, project managers, artist managers, designers, and founders inside accelerator programs.My background is in coaching and leadership development. That mix is the heart of how I work. It lets me bring real presence and depth into a conversation, while also being able to take something complex and break it down to its essence: simple, practical, and usable.I'm not interested in handing people information they'll have forgotten by the weekend. My work is about creating experiences where you don't just learn about the shift that's possible — you start to feel it happening.
